Pakistani Shia Journalist Martyred in a Targeted Attack by Takfiri Terrorists

(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - According to the reports received, recently wounded Syed Ali Raza Shah S/O Aashiq Hussain could not survive his wounds and hence embraced martyrdom.

Martyr Syed Ali Raza Shah S/O Aashiq Hussain was recently reported wounded by the firing of the terrorists of the banned outfit Sipah-e-Sahaba Pakistan (Ahle Sunnat Wal Jamaat) in a locality named Khadda Fish Market. After two hours of remaining under treatment, Syed Ali Raza Shah could not bear the wounds and hence doctors confirmed his martyrdom.

Syed Ali Raza Shah was the General Secretary of Anjuman-e-Ya Ali Madad. He was a journalist of an Urdu eveninger Daily Janbaz.

The body of the martyr is being shifted to Kharadar Ghusal Khaana.

Shia parties, leaders and journalist community have condemned the murder of Syed Ali Raza. They demanded of the government to arrest the terrorists of notorious terrorist group banned Lashkar-e-Jhangvi/Sipah-e-Sahaba.


A Takfiri (from Arabic: تكفيري‎ takfīrī) is a Muslim who accuses another Muslim of apostasy. The accusation itself is called takfir, derived from the word kafir (impiety) and is described as when "...one who is, or claims to be, a Muslim is declared impure."

In principle the only group authorised to declare a Muslim a kafir is the ulema, and this only once all the prescribed legal precautions have been taken.

Takfiris have been classified by some commentators as violent offshoots of the Salafi movement, yet while Salafism is seen as a form of 'fundamentalist Islam', it is not an inherently violent movement and does not condone terrorism. Takfiris, on the other hand, condone acts of violence as legitimate methods of achieving religious or political goals. Middle East expert Robert Baer has written that:

    "takfiri generally refers to a Sunni Muslim who looks at the world in black-and-white; there are true believers and then there are nonbelievers, with no shades in between. A takfiri's mission is to re-create the Caliphate according to a literal interpretation of the Koran." (wikipedia)
